Made with love, always.
Bloom began long before it ever became an LLC. Back in 2020, Rey and Dianna started looking into the food they brought into their home and they learned the importance of eating organic. It became a personal mission for them to swap ingredients and learn to make their favorite foods at home because they felt that the food they loved shouldn’t have to be totally removed from their lives, just made with quality ingredients.
One such recipe was Dianna’s homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. It wasn’t anything fancy - just a cake in an aluminum pan with frosting slathered on top - but everyone who tried it loved it. It became a staple to bring to potlucks, and it was always gone by the time the party was over!
Fast forward to 2023, Rey and Dianna moved all the way from NC to AZ. They began to fellowship at a local church and noticed that birthdays were celebrated monthly, but with store-bought cakes. Rey and Dianna realized that they weren’t the only ones who didn’t want the cake, most of the congregation politely declined. So they had an idea… what if Dianna made her “famous” carrot cake into a birthday cake for everyone to try?
After the move, Rey and Dianna didn’t have any cake pans, so they made a quick stop at the store and only found one Bundt cake pan, so they took it! Dianna began searching YouTube and Pinterest for decorating ideas, but she didn’t find any Bundt cakes she liked, so she decided to try something on her own. When Rey saw the cake, he knew there was something blooming (get it?).
When the cake was presented to the church, not only did the congregation love it, they asked for more flavors! Rey and Dianna ended up bringing monthly cakes, practicing and growing, and they eventually opened up Bloom Bundt Cakes. Dianna began baking, decorating, and marketing, and Rey began building out the infrastructure and working on the logistics.
Their mission is still the same as when they made their first cake: make delicious desserts free of harmful ingredients so you can have your cake and eat it too.
